It's been awhile...
do you get jokes in april cos of your surname? i mean imagine if your surname was Christmas…december would be FULL of em! :)
Oh you can’t even imagine. However, I’ve gotten used to it. My friends lay off - but Easter is always on spring break so I’m traveling and going through airport security is so. damn. obnoxious. because every single person thinks they’re making...
J.D. Salinger
J.D. Salinger died yesterday. I had no idea until Annie told me this morning. I think it’s so weird that a little over two weeks ago I was reading Catcher in the Rye trying to refresh my high school memory. It’s also silly, because once I finished reading Catcher in the Rye I scribbled down the name ‘Holden’ on a piece of paper. I have this thing. It just sprung about...
Heyheyhey
To the person word-vomiting on my formspring… kindly calm yourself. 20 questions every other day in a three minute span is excessive dude. sorry, just sayin’. :)
Always remember that when a man goes out of the room, he leaves everything in it...

“College has had its ups and its downs. Girls come and go, friends go in and out, jobs change, but the constants - best friends, fun experiences, family life, late nights at the diner, staying up til the sun shows its face just for the hell of it, atlantic city trips in which a friend of yours may or may not sleep in the bathtub not out of need but out of pure will and excitement to do...
passive-aggressive
I love passiveaggressivenotes.com more than any website in the world. Hence, I am going to spam a few of my favorites I came across tonight. I have been crying in laughter for the past 20 minutes because of these.
Writing.
I love stumbling across the writing of the least likely of people and being amazed by their thoughts/situations. A girl I’ve known for several years decided to post her blog website on her profile. She’s decided to write every day for 365 days. But what’s more amazing is that she is making it public. I envy anyone who can throw their thoughts and struggles out there so willingly....
Vote for Invisible Children!
Hey everyone!!!
So for those of you who don’t know I’m really active in supporting Invisible Children. Invisible Children is an amazing organization that helps raise awareness about the 23-year civil war going on in Uganda. The organization has been successful in raising money and awareness for thousands of children who have been displaced by the war and forced to fight under command...
This is going to be one of those nights where I keep telling myself I’m going to get ready to go out… and don’t until Dorl has showed up at my house bitching about how I take too long. I can’t get out of my bed. Maybe because my arms are missing (as depicted in this picture below hahahah)
Ok. I’m not funny. and I’m going to get ready for reaaaaal. I just...
Before I head outtt....
I heard you and Dan are getting married? I thought you and Jack were.
It’s a toss up… they’re going on legends of the hidden temple to duke it out and see which one gets to marry me
Would you ever consider making prints/selling your photos? I know it’s just a hobby, but I looveeee the photos you take of the island, and I’d honestly buy them.
Ahh I don’t know...
Getting a grip on 2010!
This week I am giving my life a makeover. Home from the Bahamas, I have a week until school starts and no work obligation until Monday. I’m on a productive roll.
So far I have packed away all of the Christmas decorations, super cleaned the bathroom, done 3 loads of laundry, unpacked my suitcase, conquered my sushi and chipotle cravings, gone to the gym, finished Peter Pan, bought a bathing...
A female colleague once told me advice that I must share with my daughter, and...

Formspring!
Who is your biggest inspiration in life. Why? xoxo KAT
My high school cross country coach was probably my biggest inspiration. I ran track and cross country all four years of high school so spending every day with him he became a really important factor in my life. He was a genius about running. He taught me so much of what I know about physical and mental strength. He was always encouraging and...
Goodbye curly hair. Goodbye Hopetown. See you in March :)
I shot these two photos back to back. They made me sad. I’m really glad I studied in Environmental Studies… but I’ve realize it’s made me care a lot more than I used to. Some of the ways we deplete our environment are so unnecessary.
But I have learned that you make your own happiness, that part of going for what...

Seafoam.
I stuck with seafoam hues today. It wasn’t even intentional but I recognized the pattern when I got back. I added a hint of ‘cross-process’ to them all of course because I love the vintage look it adds :)
I’ve got a good playlist and my camera. Time to do some self-discovering and snap a few good photos :)
Pictures to come.

Hmm well I never tend to stay with a same author. I lovelovelove Jodi Piccoult - of any author I’ve probably read her writing the most. But some of my favorite books include The Beach - Alex Garland, A...

what’s your favorite part about coming back to baltimore?
Starting over. Having to break up my life at home makes me appreciate it so much more when I get back to it. Aside from this, experiences in the Bahamas always give me a little bit more clarity about how I should be living my life. It’s like I come back to a giant wake up call. It can be scary, but it can be really good. So I...

How’s you come up with the name lilroxybabe8188?

What’s the best and the worst part about living with Jack?
The best part is that I don’t live with Jack. The worst part is that I don’t get to leave food crumbs all over their beloved...
